The Briars Highland Fling is a must-do weekend for any mountain biker. Racing will be fierce as the stakes are high for the top riders but there are also various options for just about all skill and fitness levels. The Fling is truly a festival of mountain biking goodness – as well as the main racing in the 110kmFull Fling, 55km Half Fling and 100Mile Fling there are also sideshow events such as The Casual Fling, The Bundanoon Dash, The Battle of The Businesses, The Kids Fling and much more.
The Fling is the final and biggest event of the hotly contested six event Real Insurance XCM Series. Being the final event in the Series it will carry an extra 15% point weighting, which means that you will be able to earn more ranking points for doing the Fling than any other event in the Series.
