This was the second race of the Winter Series, not to mention the second Saturday race and what a turn out there was. There was a massive turnout of kids ready to have a crack at racing. Hitting the start line on anything from “my first bikes” to their first 16 inch bikes (minus training wheels) they all took on the course. Finishing up everyone claimed ice blocks and it was on to the grade racing. C grade also had a large turnout and the racing was exceptionally tight with some hard fought battles. B and A grade were let loose together. Jon Odams led out off the front in A grade creating a substantial gap on second place Troy Glennan by the end, Glennan also had a similar gap on the rest of the field. In B grade the racing was tight with the gaps small but it was Josh Browning who took out the win.
