Whilst the overall turnout at Newton’s Nation may not have been as big as previous years, mountain bikers were in their element. Three sun filled days, a sub two minute track (which was really fun despite its length) not to mention a gruelling slalom track and a friendly atmosphere made the weekend all worth while. Of course there was that big 7000 dollar prize purse to draw in those out of state riders such as Rhy Willemse and The Kovariks ( Claire and Chris) which really made competition tight.
